The 2009 Grammy Posters

Martin Louie the King Jr("address me as such" lololol), formally known as Kanye, Yeezy, Louis Vuitton Don, etc...posted these posters up and I thought every one of them to be sick.

Aight I'm back

Maaaaan these past couple days, I've been out cold and haven't had a chance to post anything fresh. But now that I'm back, I had to throw up this remix to keep yall from feeling like I left yall hangin. Here go Dream feat Fab, Juelz, Luda, & Ross in the Rockin' That Shit Remix.

Black Love

This was an interesting piece that the homie Villain led me to. It was written by HU (Howard U incase the institute is reading) recording artist Ricosuave. It was def a good read. He brought up points that men and women should recognize when it comes to Black Love. Check it out here.

The Lab: Dot Da Genius in the studio with Kid CuDi

I saw this vid last week on facebook and just found it today on OS. That dude is crazy on them keys. And in case you missed it, he's the guy who produced Day N Nite.

The Vorhees Tee

(Crooks & Castles)
Yup...mmhmm...about to make my way to The Commonwealth RRRRRRight now.

The Boombox Gun&Gold Watch

...EXtra fresh.

Daaag...I shoulda wore this to Inauguration.

My President is Black: Inauguration of Barack Obama

Remix via Lowkey

I know I've been on hiatus a couple days but you must understand...these past couple days...I had to pop champagne for Barack's campaign. It was bananas in DC the ENTIRE weekend.

Maaaaan....JD can't imagine what it was like for the reg folk. Imagine gettin out there 6am and chillin @ the National Mall with nowhere to walk. The National Mall was ridiculous.

CRAZY!

The Speech

...and it's only right that this goes up.

The Lab: Ryan Leslie

Ryan Leslie back in the lab workin on track for Kid CuDi. This dude is a genius. This beat may be WAAAY better than Addiction.

Blame It Rmx feat Busta & Wayne

Can't help but to blame it on the alcohol lol.

The Interview

Villain put on this. I thought to be fas (can some1 guess that text/chat abbreviation?).

Another from...The Real

None of Your Queen's Bee's Wax

DMX's Prison Interview

Dag X...this dude can't get a break.

Half Steppin

"I like the little skinny shorty with the chubby butt." lolololol LE Double NY is that dude. Make sure you stay on the lookout for this guy.

Pink Lavalamp

Over this past weekend, the homie Price put me on this mixtape.  Before, I'll admit I may have slept on Sonic at first.  But after hearing this mixtape, I am now one to suggest you all give a listen and check the boy out.

Roll Call feat Lil Jon & Wayne

I see CiCi's gettin it in at the lab. And the boy Lil Jon's is puttin in work tryna keep crunk relevant. That's what's good.

SHE SAID SHE LIKE MY NEW G-SHOCK!

This G-Shock is pretty damn ill.

YES!!!!!!

It's about time Wayne. It's been a minute since he messed with Pharrell. ("What Happened To That Boy" I believe?)

Props to Lowkey

The Boombox Watch

Heartless Monster

50 bringin it back to the comical, beefin, get rich or die tryin 50.

Cory Gunz and Mickey Fatz Freestyle

Gunz and Fatz murdered this freestyle on The Deal.

09 Lookout: Dymond

Hobbies include traveling, cooking, making music, networking, shopping, singing, & dancing.

Make sure to keep a lookout for the homegirl Dymond. She's been doing her thing on the modeling scene and just made her way to the big screen the up-and-coming film NOTORIOUS. Back in August, she was JET Beauty of the Week. And she was also featured in the 2009 Throttle Angels Calendar as the April Model of the Month. So keep an eye out for this one. And 4 the haters, when I say homegirl, I def mean HOME, like since high school type ish lol. Check her out @ her myspace.

Purpacet

In 08, the people of It's the Real made issues of hip-hop into sketch comedy. Expect to see more vids in the future.

Classic

Classic T.I.P. This used to be one of the favorites just for the fact that it was one of the 1st tracks that had people know who T.I. and The Neptunes were. And there were quite a few people who got on T.I. thinking Trap Muzik was his 1st album. So I had to throw it back a few years (2001...yeah, it's been that long)...classic.

DBZ

Should we be excited to see this movie? The cartoon was crazy but this movie may be a bit much.

These guys are crrraaaaaaaazy

These guys are pullin ill stunts. For the fact that they're cutting it so close makes it crazy. Check it out.

09 Lookout: Blu

The homie Rio told me to watch for this guy. Blu reps Cali to the fullest and it's obvious in his flow. He was featured in the XXL Class of 09, so this year could be his year to blow.

Japanese Cartoon

I'm guessing when Lupe said LupEND was going to be his last album, he meant his last album as Lupe Fiasco. The two tracks below are by his EXTRA secret alter ego Japanese Carton.

Army

Heirplanes

Freeze feat Chris Brown

The next single off of Thr33 Ringz. I see Pain is bout to do EVERY video off this album in front of the green screen.

Theyyyyy'rrrrre Baaaaaaaaack

My peoples put me on this ATL based group, Hollyweerd, last summer with their single Weirdo that was on their last mixtape/album Edible Phat(crazy I might add, on some weird different type ish). Here they are again with their new mixtape/album Electricity Showroom (download via OS).

And incase you've been under a rock and never heard of Hollyweerd, here is the song Weirdo. This song is what put me on and is going to put you on.

Never Ever

I may have to agree with OS when I thought Ciara was going to come up with something a little more upbeat. Polow's on the beat. His last one though (Promise), did go big.

Up In This Club

For some reason, whenever I listen to this beat, it sound like somethin from Rugrats. I mean don't get me wrong, the beats still crazy. Swizz still did his thing.

Whats G?

Wayne gatorade commercial. Brief...but official.

FATV Episode 1

Fresh Academy Presents The Life - Episode One
I thought this to be pretty funny. "Skit" as my people Nez and Rio would call it. This is the 1st episode from their Fresh Academy TV. These two are producers coming from the Chi and are going to have a lot to offer in the near future. Make sure to check'em out @ their myspace. O...and make sure to check that beat at the VERY beginning of the vid when they introduce themselves. When Rio had me listen to it and told me they made that BEAT...my ears may have came after that LMAO!!! Make sure you check them out and there will be more episodes on the way.

09 Lookout: Jay Electronica

This guy has a future ahead of him. Collab'n with people like Just Blaze and Nas makes him one to look out for in 09. Above is a song he did with JB and may have been one of the illest songs I heard in 08.

I used to as well...

By The Loots

Fresh 2 Death

This T is definitely me.

Courtesy of Karmaloop.

Crooks & Castles

This is a pretty ill Crooks & Castles chain.  There were only 50 to be made.  Being that C&C is one of my fav lines, hopefully I can snatch one b4 they're gone.

First Place Winner

I'm really not sure how I feel about Wayne's verse. He had opened up and I wasn't expecting to hear recycled lyrics. Is that what has come to?!?! In "Gossip," when he said "cut the check nigga fuck your props and make it out to Mr. Hip Hop...I'm not dead. I'm alive," ever since, I was expecting more from him. I was a little disappointed with his part of this song. What do you think?

The 2008 Rap Upz

Not only did we have one, but two for 08. The first is by the originator Skillz hailing from VA. The 2nd is the DMV 08 Rap UP by Judah featuring RAtheMC.

Ice the Villain (DMV), Swizzy, & Lil Jon - I Do

I had to start the year off right by puttin yall up on game. Ice the Villain, 1/2 of the group Point Blank (TYME), represents the DC, Maryland, VA area and comes with a style that's gonna be a problem in 09. So be on the lookout for Ice the Villain in the new year.

Movies to look out 4 in '09.
