"What's on your mind?"
It's about a quarter to 7 this mornin, didn't go to sleep last night, and now I'm @ work on facebook and I see the infamous "What's on your mind?" Usually, I post random stuff up there like on some twitter ish. But this mornin, there just one or two things that's on my mind that I actually want to air out. One of the main reasons why I'm doing what I'm doing(pertaining to me going to Full Sail) is mainly because I'm tired of listening to trash/garbage/BULLshit. And I'm not even talking content. I'm talking quality. I'm constantly bein hit on twit or on campus by people that swear they got that "body rock." Honestly, if your mix is trash, I'm prolly not gon' get past your first verse. Don't get me wrong, there are a few cats that have hit me with ish that sound like it came out the Hit Factory. But when it comes to the point were I hear the 808s OVERpowering the entire mix to where I can't even hear your voice, I begin to wonder how your track was mixed. Like the person mixed it off the computer's internal speakers. I don't know, that's just me coming from an engineering perspective. And another instance where I've known this person for YEARS and 2 or 3 years ago, he told me he was interested in making beats and had me listen to a couple tracks. I gave a few suggestions on what he could improve and it wasn't until a few days ago til I heard another track from him. Dawg...how your shit sound EXACTLY the same as it did 2-3 years ago?!?! And you expect me to shop your beats to artists? What that look like on me? I understand I'm no expert. I understand I'm not a f@#$iiiinnnnn A&R for a major label. But if you say you were serious back in 08, im expecting to hear some borderline crazy shit in 2010. Artists/producers, I'm telling you now, if you come @ me with that flim flam, take no offense now when I say I'm prolly not going to listen to future works, maybe until I hear it on the radio. I'm down here in Florida trying to perfect my craft. I'm still finding ways to improve my old shit. I'm still learning like you all are. If we're cool, hopefully we can still be cool. I just don't have the time anymore. Don't even say "O, ChiLL's gone Hollywood. He doesn't have time to fuck with us anymore." That's def not the case. I'm just out here grinding now so I can eventually make it to Hollywood. I think that's it for now. I'll keep you posted. We cool? lmao

TCS Double Feature: Ice the Villain's The Trapper Next Door & L@Me2
The homie ITV has been puttin in WORK! Today, I originally thought he was just dropping the L@Me2 mixtape. Come to find out, he dropped a double feature on ya boy and also came out with The Trapper Next Door. I believe that he said the premise behind TTND was to be about his transition from the DMV to the ATL. Both tapes features members of FNFG and Home Grown and of course crazy productions by the dude LCD. Like I mentioned on twitter...the homie got JERNTS ON DECK!!! Download IMMEDIATELY!
